clouds and blossoms
I just wanted to share something beautiful on this plain, busy and rather cloudy Thursday. Since I’ve been back in California we had the most glorious weather for February. Temperatures up to 80 ℉ (almost 27 ℃) are pretty rare for this month, even in the Golden State. It already felt like spring and you could see some wonderful blossoms and really interesting clouds. One night last week the sky was so beautiful, that I went outside with my camera and took lots of shots of the sky and some trees on our street.
I met one of our neighbors who was taking pictures, too. We got to talk and it turned out he is a member of the Los Gatos Saratoga Camera Club and he showed me a couple tricks. It was fun and I really like how this one turned out.
You choose a long shutter speed and move the zoom while taking the picture.
I’m looking forward to spring. For me it stands for a new beginning, a fresh start.
