I hope you are having a peaceful and healthy fourth Advent.
I am sorry I haven’t posted last week. I’ve been in quarantine in Germany but was still teaching online. It has been quite the journey and there have been moments when I was not quite sure that I am doing the right thing. But I have been very careful and got tested twice. And after four months, I could finally see my daughter again.
This year has been hard and there were many reasons to stay in the US but even more to go to Germany and to see our daughter and our parents. That is all that we’re going to do. We will be celebrating Christmas in our happy place, just the four of us and this is the best present we could give each other.
