Dear followers and friends!
It’s already the third day of the new year and I haven’t blogged for a while now. We spent the last two and a half weeks in Germany and it’s been a busy time as always. Visiting home is wonderful and fun, but at times slightly too busy. Trying to see everyone you’d like to see can be a bit much, but in the end it’s always worth it.
I’ve gotten so many nice messages for Christmas from all over the world and I would like to say thank you to my friends, family and all the “virtual friends” that I made this year. San from theinbetweenismine, Tina Busch, Jonna from Expatmamas, Susan from Karrierepfade, Jo from restlessjo, Pit’s Fritztown News, Ingrid from alittlebitofingrid and many more. Thanks for making my blogging year so special. I’m hoping to make more time for blogging this year than in 2017.
Welcome New Year!
And I’m very grateful that our family was able to conclude 2017 and to start the new year in my personal happy place. It’s been a great year for our family with lots of good times and fun adventures and I’m very grateful for that.
On top you can see my view from last Sunday. I can’t get enough from sitting on our balcony enjoying this view of the Hopfensee (Lake Hopfen) and Neuschwanstein in the distance. I really wish we could stay longer, but the good thing is that we can come back in the summer.
Today it is very windy and a there’s even a hurricane warning. The weather is screwing up most of our plans, maybe that’s a good omen for 2018. Let’s not make too many plans, but be flexible and open-minded.
I wish you all a wonderful, happy and healthy New Year 2018! May your year be filled with fun and positivity, with lots of adventures and new projects and plenty of times with the people that make you happy! Cheers!
