Expat women are often considered the “trailing spouses” who are just following their husbands and their careers. Which for me, seems almost like an insult and doesn’t do these women justice at all.

Because from my personal experience, most of the expat women are not just the appendage of their partners, but interesting, fearless and very strong women.

In my new category “Coffee with…” I’m going to present you some exceptional women in the US who I had the pleasure meeting along my own expat journey.

And as a side kick, I will take you to coffee places all over the Bay Area and maybe even beyond. Stay tuned.
